                                              NATIONAL LIBRARY WEEK

        Since 1968, 14th to 20th November is being celebrated as the National Library week all over India and various programs are organised by the libraries to enhance public awareness about Libraries. Keeping in tune with this tradition, Kendriya Vidyalaya Vizianagaram celebrates the National Library Week 2021.

    The following Activities and Competitions will be organised during the National Library Week.

1. Book Cover Making Competition  or classes  III, IV , V   ( JUNIORS) 

                                                                for classes  VI,VII, VIII( SENIORS)

•   Make Book Cover of your favorite Book on A4 Sheet.
•   send it to  8978040921 from 14-11-2021 to 22 -11-2021
•   winners will be announced after the submission of hardcopy in the Library.

2.Designing Book Mark Competition for classes  III, IV , V   ( JUNIORS) 

                                                                for classes  VI,VII, VIII( SENIORS)

• Design a Book Mark
• Click a clear picture of Book Mark and a selfie with Book Mark.
• Send it to 8978040921 from 16-11-2021 to 22 -11-2021
• winners will be announced after the submission of hardcopy in the Library.

3.  Essay Writing for classes  IX, X, XI, XII 

• Topic : National Education Policy 2020
• send it to  8978040921  on 22 -11-2021
• winners will be announced after the submission of hardcopy in the Library.

4. Book Review for classes  VI,VII, VIII

• Take any book of your choice.
• Write the summary of the book on A4 sheet.
• Submit to school library before 22-11-2021

5. Drawing competition for classes  III, IV , V 

• Theme : Our school Library
• Send it to 8978040921 on 19-11-2021.
• Submit to school Library on 22-11-2021.

                        Ministry of Education has launched a National Initiative for Proficiency in Reading with Understanding and Numeracy (NIPUN BHARAT), for ensuring that every child in the country necessarily attains Foundational Literacy and Numeracy(FLN) by the end of grade 3, by  2026-27.

26 th National Reading Day Reading Month Celebrations

 Dear Students / Teachers 

             The annual remembrance day of P.N.Panicker on 19th June is observed as the "Day of Reading" by the Government of Kerala for the past 22 years for his contribution in the field of literacy and education and propagating the message of 'Reading for Inclusive growth'.
              The Hon'ble Prime Minister inaugurated the 22nd Natioanl Reading Day and Reading month celebrations at Kochi and called upon the citizens of India to inculcate the reading habit.
              In this connection, and to honour the contribution of P N Panicker every year from June 19th to july 18th we are celebrating National Reading Day and Reading  Month and different activities will also be conducting to increase the reading habit of the students.
              Dear students of our vidyalaya ,and all staff members  this is a great platform to show your creativity, talent,skills and ideas by participating in the following online activities.

 7th International Yoga day-2021

Yoga brings physical and mental disciplines to achieve a peaceful body and mind together.It helps to manage stress and anxiety and keeps us relaxing. It also helps in increasing flixibility, muscle strength and body tone. It improves respiration and energy.Yoga asanas build strength, flexibility and confidence.

In connection with 7th International Yoga Day on 21st June, 2021 Kendriya Vidyalaya, Vizianagaram conducted Yoga activities.
