ATMANIRBHAR BHARAT-SWANTANTRA BHARAT COMPETITIONS
ANNOUNCED BY GOVERNMENT OF INDIA
Dear Students,
The Government of India has announced following competitions for all the students on the auspicious occasion of Independence Day. You are requested to kindly go through the details and participate in the competitions in large numbers.
Here is the details of the competitions:
1. AtmaNirbhar Bharat - Swatantra Bharat Quiz ( click here to participate) - presently active -
LAST DATE 10-Aug-2020
Salient features :
The quiz will be in bilingual format i.e. in hindi and english.
Duration of the quiz will be 5 minutes, during which a maximum of 20 questions can be answered.
There will be cash prizes first, second, third and seven consolation prizes as under.
1. 1st prize Rs. 25,000 /-
2. 2nd prize Rs. 15,000 /-
3. 3rd prize Rs. 10,000 /-
4. Consolation prizes(seven) Rs. 5,000 /- each
Terms and Conditions
(i) Only Indian Citizens aged 14 years and above can participate in the quiz.
(ii) The criteria for selecting successful winners will be "Maximum correct answers in the shortest time " , subject tot he stipulation of 20 questions attempt and 05 minutes duration.
(iii) An individual is permitted to participate only once in the quiz.
(iv) Any individual who desires to participate in the quiz will be required to provide his / her name date of birth, correspondence address, email address and mobile number.
(v) Bonafide documents( proof of identity , age, address and bank details), will be required to be submitted by the winners after announcement of the result of the quiz. Non - furnishing of the above information / documents at appropriate stage will render the selection null and void.
(vi) The same mobile number and same Email ID cannot be used more than once for participation in the quiz.
(vii) Discovery/Detection/malpractices/double participation etc. during the participation in the quiz, will result in the participation being declared null and void and hence , rejected. The organizers of the quiz competition or any agency on their behalf reserves the right in this regard.
(viii)Employees, directly or indirectly connected with organizing the quiz are not eligible to participate in the quiz. This ineligibility alos applies to their immediate family members.
(ix) participants can view their score after the last date of the quiz.
2. AtmaNirbhar Bharat - Swatantra Bharat -Essay writing competition ( Click here to participate) - Link will be activated soon - Last date 14-08-2020
Salient features:
The Essay can only be submitted in English Language.
The prizes will be announced soon.
Terms and Conditions:
(i) Only Indian students of class IX th to XII can participate.
(ii) The top 10 entries will be forwarded to NCERT to examine the entries at national level.
(iii) Students are advised to keep their entry ready, they will be informed as soon as Mygov.in starts taking the entries.
(iv) Here are the top 10 topics to choose from:

ISRO Cyberspace Competitions - 2020 (ICC-2020)
During the present COVID-19 challenging times, when physical meetings are near-impossible, ISRO plans to play its unifying role for the young minds of our country by involving them in various online competitions showcasing their potential talents by organising online ISRO Cyberspace Competitions-2020(ICC-2020).
The sole aim of this competition is ' to enhance the knowledge of school students on Space Science and Technology.
The competitions planned in ICC-2020 are :
- Drawing competitions for class 1 to 3
- Model making competition for class 4 to 8
- Essay competition for class 9 to 10 (both hindi and english)
- Essay competition / Space -Quiz

25TH P.N.PANICKER NATIONAL READING / DIGITAL READING MONTH CELEBRATIONS 2020
The P.N.Panicker foundation and P.N.Panicker Vigyan Vikas Kendra have been observing the Reading Day/ Reading Month celebrations since 19th june 1996, the first annual remembrance day of Shri P.N.Panicker , the father of library and literacy movement in Kerala.
This year a variety of reading related activities conducted online and some of them include :

NATIONAL READING DAY AND READING MONTH CELEBRATIONS 2020-21
The annual remembrance day of P.N.Panicker on 19th June is observed as the "Day of Reading" by the Government of Kerala for the past 22 years for his contribution in the field of literacy and education and propagating the message of 'Reading for Inclusive growth'.
The Hon'ble Prime Minister inaugurated the 22nd Natioanl Reading Day and Reading month celebrations at Kochi and called upon the citizens of India to inculcate the reading habit.
In this connection, and to honour the contribution of P N Panicker every year from June 19th to july 18th we are celebrating National Reading Day and Reading Month and different activities will also be conducting to increase the reading habit of the students.
Dear students of our vidyalaya ,and all staff members this is a great platform to show your creativity, talent,skills and ideas by participating in the following online activities.

The AYUSH Sanjivani Quiz
The Quiz is being organized by the Ministry of AYUSH. The AYUSH Ministry advisories on immunity boosting came at the difficult time of the COVID-19 pandemic, and are believed to have helped millions of people to ward off health problems in these difficult days.The Ayush Sanjivani has at its heart a set of questions which aim to assess the impact of the said advisories in the prevention of COVID-19.
Participation in this Quiz will help you understand the AYUSH systems of healthcare in general , and the Ayush Sanjivani app in particular.
Terms and Conditions:
- Entry into the QUIZ is open to all indian citizens.
- Once submitted an entry cannot be withdrawn.
- participants from all age groups will be allowed to contest in the Quiz.
- The quiz shall open on May 22, 2020 at 10.00 hours (IST) and will close at 23.59 hours (IST) on June 21,2020.
- Multiple entries for the same participant will not be considered and will be discarded.
- Duration of quiz is only 2 minutes(120 seconds) with only 10 multiple choice questions.
Prizes:
- First Prize = one prize - Rs.25,000/- each
- Second Prize = 3 prizes - Rs.10,000/- each
- Third Prize = 5 prizes - Rs.5,000/ each

Earth Root Foundation is celebrating International Day for Biological Diversity on 22nd may 2020.In connection this it is conducting online quiz .
- There will be 20 questions of each 1 mark.
- You will get 400 seconds / 6.6 minutes to complete the quiz.

NAMAMI GANGA QUEST
Ganga Quest ia a national bilingual(Hindi and English) online quiz on GANGA which is organized jointly by National Mission for Clean Ganga(NMCG), an authority under Government of India which implements 'Namami Gange ' programme and TREE craze Foundation (TCF), a not for profit organization committed to river Ganga and environment.
Rules:
- Anyone of age above 10 years are eligible to participate in ganga quest.
- Participants willing to participate should have valid ID card like AADHAR / School ID or any other.
- Students should mention the school details correctly otherwise he/she may disqualify for the quest due to incomplete verification process.
- Since the quiz is online, students must ensure internet connectivity with a min. speed of 512 Kbps.
- The first 100 participants will be awarded with certificates and knowledge hampers.
- Name of top 3 scores in four categories will be published on TREE craze Foundation website after verification of details
- Incorrect details or multiple registrations may lead to disqualification.
